Instructions for Authors

As an overlay superjournal we peer-review any preprint in any format. There are no specfic formatting requirements, but we recommend to structure the paper in IMRD (Introduction - Methods - Results - Discussion) and follow EQUATOR reporting guidelines (e.g. CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE etc).

The easiest pathway is to first post a Preprint on BioRxiv and then use JMIRx submission forms (e.g.  JMIRx-Med form,  JMIRx-Bio form).

Existing reviews from third party review services or PREreview can be used to accelerate publication, and authors can also nominate their paper for the PREreview Journal Club.

For detailed instructions and other submission options see How to submit to a JMIRx journal

According to COPE, plagiarism is defined as “When somebody presents the work of others (data, words or theories) as if they were his/her own and without proper acknowledgment”. JMIR Publications policy on plagiarism is available here: How does JMIR Publications define plagiarism?
